Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation). | | -
Remove the brake caliper lower bolt. - Discard the brake caliper lower bolt.

NOTE:A brake wear indicator is fitted to the inner brake pad. Remove the brake pads. - Rotate the brake caliper upwards.
- Remove the brake pads.

CAUTION:When the brake caliper pistons are retracted into the piston housing, brake fluid will be displaced into the brake fluid reservoir. Using the special tool, fully retract the brake caliper pistons. | Installation | -
Only the Left Hand Side wiring loom is connected to the brake pad. | | -
Fit the bridging connector to the Right Hand Side wiring loom for all vehicle build up to 24.01.2008. - Not required if previously fitted (not included in the pad kit).

NOTE:Remove the adhesive foil from the rear of the brake pad. NOTE:Make sure that the brake pad contact points are clean and free of foreign material. NOTE:Install a new brake caliper lower bolt. To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | -
Install the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation). | | -
Depress the brake pedal, check the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir and top up if necessary with brake fluid. | | |
