Removal

NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Release the parking brake.
  1. Remove the wheel and tire.
    Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

    1. General Equipment: Hose clamp(s)
    1. Torque: 18 Nm
    1. Torque:
      All other than 460 series vehicles 31 Nm
      460 series vehicles 34 Nm

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that all openings are sealed.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Note the position of the brake pads to aid installation.

  1. Torque:
    All other than 460 series vehicles 115 Nm
    460 series vehicles 186 Nm

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the brake pad contact points are clean and free of foreign material.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Bleed the brake system.
