Disassembly

CAUTION:
CAUTION:Use vise jaws protectors.
  1. Clamp the differential in a vise.

  1. Special Tool(s): 205-071

    1. Special Tool(s): 205-047-06
    1. Special Tool(s): 205-071

  1. Special Tool(s): 205-071

    1. Special Tool(s): 205-047-06
    1. Special Tool(s): 205-071
    1. If equipped.

  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Loosen: Four turn(s)
    1. Save four bolts for reassembly the ring gear.

Assembly

CAUTION:
CAUTION:Use vise jaws protectors.
  1. Clamp the differential in a vise.

  1. Install the four bolts saved during disassembly.
    Torque: 105 Nm

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that new bolts are installed.
    Torque: 105 Nm

      NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed.
      If equipped.
    1. NOTE:
      NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed.
      The roller bearing must not be lubricated.
    1. Special Tool(s): 308-203
      General Equipment: Hydraulic press

    NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed.
