Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles
  1. Remove the A-pillar trim panels.
    For additional information, refer to A-Pillar Trim Panel in this section.

  1. Remove the safety belt upper anchor cover.

  1. Detach the safety belt upper anchor.

  1. Remove the B-pillar trim panel upper retaining screws.

  1. Remove the sun visors.

  1. Remove the sun visor retaining clips.

  1. Remove the passenger assist handle.
    • Lever open the covers to expose the bolts.
Vehicles with auxiliary heating
  1. Detach the auxiliary heater control assembly.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the auxiliary heater control assembly.
All vehicles
  1. Detach the front interior lamps.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the front interior lamps.

  1. Remove the front headliner.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
