Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the sliding door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired.
    Detach the watershield from the sliding door panel.

  1. Detach the exterior sliding door handle cable.
    1. Detach the outer cable from the handle.
    1. Disconnect the inner cable from the lock lever.

  1. Remove the exterior sliding door handle.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
