Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired.
    Detach the watershield from the rear door panel.

  1. Remove the rear door lock cylinder retaining clip.

  1. Insert the key into the rear door lock cylinder and rotate it clockwise.

  1. Depress the tang to release the rear door lock cylinder.

  1. Rotate the rear door lock cylinder counterclockwise.

  1. Remove the rear door lock cylinder.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
