Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve: Description and Operation
DESCRIPTION
Located on the rear of the right cylinder head cover is a positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve (1). Internal engine vapor is captured, the solid
particulates are separated by a diffuser located on the right exhaust camshaft, and the vapor is reused during the combustion process.
