2-door-B-pillar - With Side Curtain Airbags ('04-06 models)
SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before performing repairs or service.
NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.
1. Remove these items:

C-pillar trim, front portion as needed

Side trim panel, upper portion as needed
-
Door opening trim, as needed
2. Remove the front seat belt upper anchor bolt.
3. Remove the B-pillar upper trim (A).
1. Remove the clip (B) from the seat belt guide (C).
2. Pull out the trim by hand to detach the clips (D), and to release the hooks (E) from the side curtain airbag B-pillar bracket (F) in the numbered
sequence.
