3. Remove the sealing bolt from the inspection hole, and connect the Valve Inspection Tool.

NOTE:  Remove any oil from the bolt threads and camshaft holder threads before retightening the sealing bolt.

4. Loosen the regulator valve on the valve inspection tool, and apply the specified air pressure to the rocker arm synchronizing piston A/B.

Specified Air Pressure is 400 kPa (57 psi)

5. With the specified air pressure applied, push up the timing plate 2-3 mm (0.08-0.12 inch) at plate end; the synchronizing piston will pop out

and engage the intake mid, primary and secondary rocker arms. Visually check the engagement of the synchronizing piston A/B.
