At each location, use a flat tip screwdriver to spread apart the flanges of the clamp, and install a washer (see PARTS INFORMATION) as shown.

5.

Reinstall the two nuts and bolts. Torque the bolts to 12 N-m (1.2 kg-m, 9 lb.ft.).

6.

Test drive the car to confirm that the noise has been eliminated.
