About the Passport
The original Passport, sold from the 1994 to the 2002 model year, was a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo and Honda's first SUV in the United States. It was built by Subaru Isuzu Automotive in Lafayette, Indiana, as part of a partnership in which Isuzu supplied trucks to Honda and Honda supplied cars to Isuzu. Honda replaced it with its own Pilot, and revived the Passport name in 2019 for a crossover.
What these manuals cover
- 1994–1997 (first generation): Isuzu's 2.6-litre four (4ZE1) and 3.2-litre SOHC V6 (6VD1).
- 1998–2001 (second generation): the 3.2-litre DOHC V6, in LX and EX trims with two or four-wheel drive.
