After the cleaner evaporates, reconnect the two halves of the connector. Do not apply dielectric grease to the connector pins.
5.
Use the Smart Cable to reprogram the PCM with the latest software from the June 2000 or later Hondanet CD-ROM. Refer to service bulletin
99-005, Updating the Passport PCM, filed under Tools.
6.
Use the PGM Tester to clear any DTCs.
7.
Use the PGM Tester to check the broadcast code. Make sure the broadcast code matches the one you selected from the CD-ROM.

IAC
1.
Install a "known-good" IAC.
2.
Repeat step 7 of DIAGNOSIS.

If the IAC now performs correctly, continue to step 3.

If the IAC still does not perform correctly, check all the electrical connectors in the AC circuit for corrosion and proper pin fit, starting at the
PCM.
