12. Measure the voltage between fan motor 2P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES - Go to step 13.
NO - Repair an open in the wire between radiator fan relay 4P socket terminal No. 2 and radiator fan motor 2P connector terminal No. 2.
13. Disconnect the jumper wire.
14. Test the radiator fan motor.
Is the fan motor OK ?
YES -Repair an open in the wire between radiator fan motor 2P connector terminal No. 1 and body ground G201.
NO - Replace the radiator fan motor.

NOTE: Refer to the symptom troubleshooting index before troubleshooting.
1. Check the No. 3 (7.5A) fuse in the driver's underdash fuse/relay box.
Is the fuse OK?
YES - Go to step 2.
NO - Check for these problems:

A short in the wire between the driver's underdash fuse/relay box and fan control module 8P connector terminal No. 2.

A short in the wire between the driver's underdash fuse/relay box and fan control relay 4P socket terminal No. 5.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
3. Measure the voltage between fan control module 8P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES - Go to step 4.
NO - Repair an open in the wire between the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and fan control module 8P connector terminal No. 2.
4. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
5. Disconnect the fan control module 8P connector.
