13. Adjust the length of the driveshafts to the figure as shown, then adjust the boots to halfway between full compression and full extension. This

prevents a vacuum or too much air in the boot, preventing it from compressing or extending properly.

14. Install new boot bands:

For the low profile type, go to step 15.

For the double loop type, go to step 18. (Boot band replace only)

For the locking tab type, go to step 27.

15. Install the new low profile band (A) onto the boot (B), then hook the tab (C) of the band.
