Vacuum Hose Routing (5 Speed Manual Trans)

VACUUM HOSE ROUTING

NOTE: The vacuum source hose at the intake manifold may be kinked or collapsed. Check this before continuing with the test!

1.

Place the transaxle in FIFTH (5th) gear.

2.

Using an ohm meter, check for continuity between the select switch terminals (Connector M12 - 2wht) located on top of the transaxle.

Continuity

Should exist
Replace the switch if it fails the above test.

3.

Place the transaxle in REVERSE gear.

4.

Using an ohm meter, check for continuity between the reverse switch wires RED - RED/BLU (Connector M13 - 4wht) located on top of the
transaxle.
