Removal and Installation

PROPELLER SHAFT 

REMOVAL 

1. After making a matchmark on the companion flange and flange yoke, and another matchmark on the differential companion flange and rubber

coupling, remove the propeller shaft.

NOTE:  When removing the propeller shaft, be careful not to damage the boot. Insert a piece of cloth into the boot to prevent it from being
damaged.

INSPECTION 

1. Check the propeller shaft yokes for wear, damage or cracks.
