IF YOU CONFIRM

DTC code C1142 is stored in the ABS system,

NOTE:

If code C1142 is stored, the ABS, SLIP, and VDC OFF lights will likely be ON.

ACTIONS

Follow the flow chart in the Service Procedure for diagnostic and repair steps.

NOTE:

Make sure the brake pedal and stop lamp switch adjustments are correct, and the stop lamp switch and circuit are operating correctly before replacing the
ABS Actuator and Electronic Control Unit.
