AFFECTED VEHICLES

All 1989 Trooper II (KT), Spacecab Pickup (TF) and Amigo (TC) models with Ausco-manufactured tire jacks.

SERVICE INFORMATION

It is easier to remove the tire jack from an affected vehicle by using a jack key. This Service Bulletin describes how to use a jack key to remove the tire
jack from the vehicle. As a courtesy, a jack key has been mailed to all affected retail owners.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Tire jack locations are:

a.

Trooper - Underneath the driver's seat

b.

Space cab Pickup - Underneath the rear seal

c.

Amigo - Behind the left wheel well

2.

Insert the jack key into the jack as shown in Figure 1. Turn the key counterclockwise to release the jack from the vehicle.
