About Isuzu

Isuzu's history goes back to 1916, and it took its name from the Isuzu River in 1949. Today it mainly builds commercial trucks and diesel engines, and owns UD Trucks.

Rodeo is the Honda Passport, and Trooper is the Acura SLX.
Oasis (1996–99) is the first-generation Honda Odyssey.
Hombre (1996–2000) is the Chevrolet S-10 and GMC Sonoma, and the i-Series (2005–08) is the Chevrolet Colorado.
Ascender was built by GM on the same platform as the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, Oldsmobile Bravada, Buick Rainier and Saab 9-7X.
