About the Amigo
The Amigo is the three-door version of the Isuzu MU, sold in the United States from 1989 to 1994. After a break it returned for 1998 with the second-generation MU, and it was renamed the Rodeo Sport for 2001. In Europe the three-door was sold as the Opel and Vauxhall Frontera Sport.
What these manuals cover
- 1989–1993 (first generation): the 2.3-litre (4ZD1) and 2.6-litre (4ZE1) fours, with two or four-wheel drive.
- 1998–1999 (second generation): the 2.2-litre four and the 3.2-litre V6.
Tip: the later Amigo became the Rodeo Sport, whose manuals are with the Rodeo.
