WARRANTY INFORMATION

Prior authorization from a Zone Service & Parts Manager (ZS&PM) must be obtained before soft top replacement.

Replacement of or repairs to soft top are not covered by the warranty if damage is caused by owner misuse/mishandling (such as carrying items on top of
canvas roof), alteration of soft top, or other warranty exclusions described in the Service Policies and Procedures Manual.
NOTE

All soft top repairs may be performed by a sublet contractor.

The following repairs may be performed without authorization from a ZS&PM:

Body side studs and tailgate twist fasteners/grommets may be replaced.

Tears or rips in canvas material at the body side, tailgate or tailgate flaps may be repaired by installing a repair panel (Figures 3 through 5). If initially
only one side panel or tailgate flap requires repair, then both sides must be repaired.

"B" Pillar and Roof Snaps/Grommets - May be replaced.

Zippers - May be replaced.

Windows - May be replaced.

IMPORTANT

Total warrantable sublet repair expense for one soft top must not exceed $275.00. Replace soft top if it is estimated that warrantable sublet repairs will
be more than $275.00.

Refer to Warranty Bulletin WB-03-89 for complete warranty administration procedures regarding soft top repair/ replacement.
SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Replace soft top if estimated warrantable sublet repairs are over $275.00.

2.

For zipper or window replacement, remove soft top and sublet for installation of new zipper or window. Replacement window material must meet
DOT 118, AS-6 standards. Replacement window and zipper material should be provided by sublet contractor as part of repair. Reinstall soft top.

3.

Replace body side studs, twist fasteners and snaps as required.

4.

For body side panel, tailgate panel and/or tailgate flap repair:

a.

Remove soft top.

b.

Using Haartz DT Vinyl Top Replacement Material (or equivalent) and black corner bead material repair as shown in Figures 3 through 5.

c.

If required, replace grommets, snaps, twist fasteners and/or body side studs.

d.

Reinstall soft top.
