Idle Speed: Adjustments

Idle Speed Adjusting Screw

Adjust engine idle speed as follows:

1.

Engine at normal operating temperature.

2.

Lights, A/C, engine cooling fan, and accessories turned off.

3.

Start engine and idle.

4.

Adjust idle speed screw so that engine idles at 900 rpm.
