Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair
Front Brake Rotor
1. Remove hub cover, remove locking hub, then remove hub nut using hub nut wrench tool No. J-36827, or equivalent.
2. Slide hub/disc assembly off spindle, then remove bolts holding hub to rotor and separate. If rotor is to be reinstalled to the hub, place suitable
matching marks on both pieces.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Thoroughly clean the hub area before installing the rotor.
b. Tighten bolts to specifications.
