Service Information
Condition:
Some customers may comment that the right rear door glass binds when rolling up or down.
Possible Cause:
The door glass may have come out of the run channel and lodged itself between the rubber weatherstrip and the metal run channel. If this happens, the
weatherstrip in the run channel may have come out of the run channel. Use the following correction procedures if there is a window binding concern
even if no apparent rubber strip movement has occurred.
Correction:
Modify run channel.
Service Procedure
1.
Remove the right rear door trim following the Service Manual.
2.
Roll the window to the full up position. Loosening the run channel may be necessary if it is jammed in the rubber weatherstrip.
3.
Using your fingers, grip the rubber weatherstrip and remove from the run channel. Rotate the rubber weatherstrip 180 degrees.
