Service Information
Condition:
Some customers may comment that one or more of the doors may be hard to close.
Possible Cause:
The door striker may be out of adjustment.
Correction:
Adjust door striker
Service Procedure
1.
Open the door.
2.
Remove the lock striker from the door pillar (see figure 1).
3.
Close the door with the lock striker removed.
4.
Verify proper door and weatherstrip fit, by referring to the service manual.
5.
Reinstall the lock striker on the door pillar and tighten screws only until the screws are flush to the lock striker plate, but still allowing the striker
to move.
