Turn Signal Cancel Cam: Service and Repair
T/S Can. Cam, Bearing Thrust Washer - Disassemble (Column Shift)
Disassembly Procedure
Tools Required

J 23653-SIR Lock Plate Compressor
Important: Let the SRS Coil assembly hang freely after removal.
1. Remove the SRS coil assembly. Refer to Infl Rst Steering Wheel Module Coil Disassemble (Column Shift).
2. Compress the shaft lock shield assembly (2)using J 23653-SIR.
3. Remove the bearing retainer (1) from the steering shaft assembly
4. Discard the bearing retainer (1).
5. Remove J 23653-SIR from the steering shaft assembly.
6. Remove the following parts from the steering shaft assembly:
1. The shaft lock shield assembly (4).
2. The turn signal cancel cam assembly (3).
3. The upper bearing spring (2).
4. The thrust washer (1).
