5. Continue sliding the VCM bracket until the fender side of the bracket is no longer underneath the fender lip.
6. Remove the retainer clips and VCM connectors.
7. Remove the VCM from The VCM bracket.
8. The remaining steps are only necessary for a VCM replacement:
9. Remove the access cover screws.
10. Remove the VCM access cover.
