1. Install the transmission assembly to the vehicle.
2. Install the transmission mounting screws.
Tighten
Tighten the wiper transmission assembly mounting screws to 8 N.m (70 lb in).
IMPORTANT:

Lubricate the inside of the socket with white lithium grease.

The wiper transmission assembly must be assembled to the crank arm past the second detent so the seal is compressed to a maximum height of
25.5 mm (1 in).
3. Install the transmission drive link to the wiper motor crank arm using the Wiper Transmission Installer J 39529.
4. Install the air inlet grille panel.
5. Install the wiper arms.
Inspection Procedure
Perform the System Check.
