Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair
Brake Pedal
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Lower trim panel.
2. Negative battery cable.
3. Electrical connector from stoplamp switch.
4. Retainer from brake pedal pin.
5. Switch by unsnapping from pushrod.
6. Pushrod.
7. Bolt.
8. Bushings and spacer.
9. Brake pedal.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Spacer and bushings to brake pedal.
2. Brake pedal.
3. Bolt and nut.

Tighten nut to 44 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
4. Pushrod.
5. Stoplamp switch by snapping to pushrod.
6. Retainer from brake pedal pin.
7. Electrical connector from stoplamp switch.
8. Lower trim panel. Refer to Body and Frame.
9. Negative battery cable.
