8. Brake hose from caliper. (if required). If hose remains-attached to caliper support the caliper with a suitable hanger.
Removing The Mounting Bolts
9. Mounting bolts.
10. Caliper.
11. Caliper mounting bracket bolts (4 wheel disc).
12. Pads.
NOTE: Inspect Mounting bolts and sleeves for corrosion. Do not attempt to polish away corrosion. Replace the corroded bolts and sleeves.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Lubricate sleeves and bushings with Delco silicone lubricant or equivalent.
2. Bushings.
3. Sleeves.
4. Caliper.
5. Mounting bolts.
Tighten

Bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) - 2 wheel disc.

Bolts to 105 Nm (77 ft. lbs.) - 4 wheel disc.
6. Compress pad ears to the caliper.
7. Brake hose to caliper. (if removed).
^
Tighten bolt to 44 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
8. ABS sensor wire (if removed).

Tighten Bolt to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
NOTE: Make sure the brake hose is not twisted or kinked. Damage to the hose could result
