Heater Control Valve Actuator: Service and Repair

Temperature Valve Actuator

The temperature valve actuator is located on the front of the heater case.

WITHOUT A/C
Remove or Disconnect

1. Instrument panel storage compartment. 
2. Electrical connector.
3. Screws.
4. Temperature valve actuator.

Install or Connect

1. Temperature valve actuator.
2. Screws.
3. Electrical connector.
4. Instrument panel storage compartment. 
5. Perform heater function test. 

WITH A/C

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable. 
2. Roll Instrument Panel back.
3. Electrical connectors, as necessary.
4. Retaining screws from temperature valve actuator.

Install or Connect

1. Temperature valve actuator retaining screws.
2. Electrical connectors, as necessary.
3. Roll Instrument Panel forward. 
4. Negative battery cable.

Check circuit operation.
