9. Remove the coolant pump gasket.
10. Inspect, to make sure all parts are free of burs or other imperfections, replace as necessary.
11. Clean all of the mating surfaces.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the coolant pump gasket to the engine.
2. Install the coolant pump to the engine.
3. Apply sealant to the bolt threads.
4. Install the coolant pump attaching bolts.

Tighten the coolant pump attaching bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the coolant pump drive pulley.
6. Install the fan clutch assembly.
7. Install the cooling fan.
8. Install the multiple ribbed accessory drive belt. Refer to Engine.
9. Install the upper fan shroud.
10.Fill the radiator with the specified coolant and concentration.
11.Inspect the cooling system for leaks. Refer to Radiator Leak Testing.
