License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair
Remove or Disconnect

Make sure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.

Make sure the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
1. Bulb socket from the license plate lamp assembly by rotating it 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
2. Bulb from the socket.
3. Step bumper pad.
4. Screws that retain the license plate lamp to the bumper.
5. License plate lamp from the bumper.
Install or Connect
1. License plate lamp to the bumper.
2. Screws that retain the license plate lamp to the bumper.
Tighten
^
Screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).
3. Step bumper pad.
4. Bulb to the socket.
5. Bulb sockets to the license plate lamp assembly by inserting and rotating it 1/4 turn clockwise.
