Backup Lamp Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the harness connector from the switch.
3. Remove the switch from the transmission case.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the switch into the transmission case.
2. Tighten the switch to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
3. Secure the harness connector to the switch.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Check the switch for proper operation.
