Underhood Lamp: Service and Repair
Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Electrical connector.
3. Screw, star washer, and ground wire from the hood.
4. Screws that retain the underhood lamp to the hood.
5. Underhood lamp assembly from the vehicle.
Install or Connect
1. Underhood lamp assembly to the vehicle.
2. Screws that retain the underhood lamp to the hood.
Tighten
^
Screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
3. Ground wire, star washer, and screw to the hood.
Tighten
^
Screw to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
4. Electrical connector.
5. Negative battery cable.
