Standards requirements with the separation condition, if a separation occurred and there were secondary crash events or a rollover, there would be no
seat belt restraint of the driver and/or front passenger, and increased injuries could occur.
WHAT WE WILL DO
To prevent this condition from occurring, your Isuzu dealer will install a plastic protector cover onto the seatback recliner assembly of both the driver
and front passenger seats. this service will be performed for you at no charge.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Please contact your Isuzu dealer as soon as possible to arrange a service date. Instructions for making this correction have been sent to your Isuzu dealer.
Please ask your dealer if you wish to know how much time will be needed to schedule and process your vehicle. Presentation of this letter to your dealer
will assist in making the necessary correction in the shortest possible time. Please have your dealer refer to Campaign Bulletin SB97-11-L009. If you
have sold or traded your vehicle, please let us know by completing the postage paid reply card and returning it to us.
