Spare Tire: Service and Repair
1. Remove the spare tire from its location.
2. Remove the bolts from the carrier.
3. Detach the pin and retainer.
4. Remove the hoist from the cross member.
5. Install the hoist by aligning the hoist with the cross member and shaft.
6. Insert the pin and retainer then tighten the bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
7. Mount the spare tire to its location.
