Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the push rod from the clutch pedal.
2. Remove the master cylinder from the cowl panel. Rotate the master cylinder body 45° clockwise.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Using J 36221 or equivalent, remove the clutch line from the concentric slave cylinder to depress the white plastic sleeve on the quick connect
coupling to separate the clutch line from the concentric slave cylinder.
5. Remove the master cylinder from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the master cylinder to the vehicle.
