Shifter M/T: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the screws securing the shift tower boot to the floor panel and insulator.
2. Remove the shift lever from the shift tower.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the shift lever to the transmission shift tower.
2. Install the screws securing the shift tower boot to the floor panel and insulator.

Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
3. Install the shift lever to the transmission shift tower.
4. Install the screws securing shift tower boot to the floor panel and insulator.

Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
