Differential Lock: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the vacuum hose from the vacuum actuator.
3. Remove the shift cable from the vacuum actuator. Refer to Shift Cable Replacement in Transfer Case.
4. Remove the bolts.
5. Remove the vacuum actuator.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the vacuum actuator.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 1.4 Nm (13 inch lbs).
3. Install the shift cable to the vacuum actuator. Refer to Shift Cable Replacement in Transfer Case.
4. Install the vacuum hose.
5. Install the battery.
