1. Install the front door check link to the door, ensuring the alignment mark (1) faces upward.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the nuts retaining the front door check link to the door.

Tighten the front door check link nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the bolt retaining the front door check link to the body.

Tighten the front door check link bolt to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft).

4. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement  (See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Front

Side Door Water Deflector Replacement) .

5. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement  (See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Front Side Door
