4. Install the outer tie rod to the steering knuckle.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .

5. Install the NEW outer tie rod retaining nut.

Tighten the outer tie rod retaining nut to 45 N.m (33 lb ft) plus 95 degrees.

Tighten the outer tie rod end jam nut to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).

6. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation  (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair) .
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Adjust the front toe. Refer to Front Toe Adjustment  (See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Front Toe Adjustment) .
