The finish knot on the corner of the stitching is slightly larger than the stitching and may be frayed from the seat belt buckle passing over it (as shown in
figure 2).
Correction:
Follow Service Procedure. Trim the stitching. Do not replace the seat belt assembly.
Service Procedure
Procedure 1:
Move the seat belt plate past the park stitching several times. This will help ease any difficulty the customer may encounter.
Procedure 2:
Trim the frayed end of the stitching
