For control arms, steering knuckle and coil spring service, refer to Fig. 2. Note the following:
1.
When removing rod end, use tool No. J-21687-02 to secure rod end.
2.
When removing steering knuckle, proceed as follows:
a. Compress coil springs using tool No. J-33992 or equivalent to disconnect the upper and lower link balls from the steering knuckle.

b. Set guide link plate 4, Fig. 3 with its tool number facing outward. The guide link plate has a stamped mark R for right or L for left in addition
