Ignition Coil Pack: Service and Repair

DIS Assembly

REMOVE

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove intercooler.

3.

Remove ignition coil cover.

4.

Remove wiring connector

5.

Remove spark plug wires from coil.  Mark positions.

6.

Remove two bolts and remove DIS assembly.

REFIT

7.

Fit new DIS assembly and torque bolts to:

19 ft lb (25 Nm)

8.

Refit spark plug wires.  Be sure to fit them to proper positions.

9.

Refit wiring connector and ignition coil cover.

10.

Refit intercooler and battery ground cable.
