Water Pump: Service and Repair

1.

Drain coolant from radiator.

2.

Using an engine support bar or equivalent, support engine assembly.

3.

Remove right side engine mount.

4.

Remove timing belt, refer to TIMING BELT.

5.

Remove water pump.

6.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Ensure all gasket material has been removed from engine block sealing surface.
b. Torque water pump retaining bolts to 17 ft. lbs.
