Trunk Lamp: Description and Operation
Battery voltage is applied at all times to fuse 5 and to the dome. spot. courtesy ana luggage compartment lights.
DOME LIGHT
When a door opens and the dome light switch is in the DOOR position. a ground path is provided by the closed door switch through the chime and
the dome light goes on. When the doors are closed, the dome light can be turned on by turning the dome light switch to ON.
SPOT LIGHT
When the spotlight switch is depressed, battery voltage is applied to the light and the spot light goes on.
COURTESY LIGHTS
When a door is opened. a ground path is provided by the closed door switch through the chime (left door) or junction block (right door) and the
courtesy lights go on.
LUGGAGE ROOM LIGHT
When the rear hatch is opened and the luggage room light switch is in the ON position, a ground path is provided through the rear hatch switch and
the luggage room light goes on.
