Brake Pedal Assy: Adjustments

1.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2.

With the brake pedal fully released, measure the distance from the surface of the footpad to the toe pan. Distance should be 6.5 - 6.9 inches.

If an adjustment is necessary, disconnect stop lamp switch wiring harness, then loosen switch locknut and remove switch.

4.

Loosen pushrod locknut, then rotate pushrod in the appropriate direction until specified pedal hieght is achieved.

5.

Install stop lamp switch. Adjust clearance between switch housing and brake pedal tab to .02 - .04 inch. Tighten switch locknut.

6.

Connect stop lamp switch harness and battery ground cable.
