Attach special tool to the uneven section of the piston.

Remover and Installer:

Push the piston in to its original position by rotating it clockwise until it stops. Then, set the piston aligning the uneven section on piston surface
and the caliper center. (See the left figure.)

Match the uneven areas of the brake pad and piston contact surfaces. Nots:

This procedure should be followed whenever the broke pad and clips are reinstalled or replaced. Do not damage the flexible hose by twisting or pulling
it.

Lock Bolt Attach the lock bolt to the caliper.

Torque

kg-m(lb.ft/N-m)

2.8-3.8 (20-27/27-37)

Parking Brake Cable After installation, adjustment of the parking brake must be performed. (Refer to "ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE OF
SERVICE BRAKE" in this section.)
