Fuel Cut-Off System

NOTE: Fuel cut-off and reinjection are controlled by the throttle switch.

1.

Warm the engine to operating temperature and turn ignition "OFF."

2.

Disconnect throttle valve switch harness connector and insert a fine wire into idle (upper) terminal.

3.

Reinstall connector with wire exposed.

4.

Start engine and run at 2000-2500 rpm.  When battery voltage is applied to the wire extending from the idle terminal, engine speed will lower to
approximately 1250 rpm if the system is functioning properly.  Engine hunting may occur but does not indicate a system malfunction.
